The Palumbo name was synonymous with roadway construction in the 70s thru the 2000s in Illinois, constructing most of the highways you drive on today in northeastern Illinois.

Since then, the Joe Palumbo family has developed a "Semi-Truck Empire" in East Dundee, Illinois (just east of the intersections of Illinois State Route 25 and Route 72). Continuing to develop depressed land, Joe turned 400 acres of empty vacant space into parking for 3,000 semis, 6 commercial buildings, jobs for over 300 people, state and municipal taxes and improvements, with plans for 3 additional commercial buildings in the next 2 years, condos, lakeside park access and more. We look forward to new restaurants and retail space joining the park in the near future.
